The staff at Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters are friendly and welcoming and make your stay with us a special experience. Many return to work with us for several years and establish strong relationships with our guests. The majority of our staff are residents of Killarney and have been working with us for many years. There is even a 30th anniversary this year for one of our staff!

Steve

We are very lucky to work with talented and devoted people. Millie our head chef has cooked fabulous meals for over a decade. Bev the Baker has been baking tantalizing desserts for over 15 years. Steve our head fishing guide and Jocelyn our Head Waitress keep everything running smoothly. At Killarney Outfitters our Manager, Graeme Walker, is in her third year guiding trips, and working with staff and guests on their Killarney adventures.

Killarney Mountain Lodge

The Lodge was originally built in the late 1940s as a wilderness corporate resort by a large American trucking company. The Lodge has a fascinating history that carries on to this day. Maury and Annabelle East bought the Lodge in 1962 and opened for the public the year the road was built into Killarney.

Adam

The history of the lodge and its guests is quite colourful and includes several high profile Americans who flew to Killarney Mountain Lodge for fishing trips and fun times in the 1950s. Since then, Maury and Annabelle and their family have welcomed visitors for almost forty years. Their wilderness hideaway still reflects the rustic luxury of Ontario's golden age. Their family and staff bring the Killarney experience to life with great food, friendly service and the best of northern hospitality.
