KILLARNEY MOUNTAIN LODGE – GUIDED OUTDOOR TRIPS
The best way to explore Killarney's famous landscape is to book a Lodge Adventure Package. This all-inclusive getaway offers lodging of your choice, three meals daily and all the guided outdoor day trips you can fit into your stay. Guests who prefer to buy individual trips may sign up and pay for each one separately. Lunch is included in all full day guided trips. Guests on the American Plan rate pay a reduced rate for full day trips. Children 10 and under half price. Remember to secure your spot by booking specific trips in advance!
SEA KAYAKING
Introduction to Kayaking - Follow the path of the voyageurs on Georgian Bay. Learn kayak basics in the pool and practice your strokes along the scenic shores of Killarney. $45 per person (AL 2-3)
Circumnavigate George Island by Sea Kayak – Paddle along the craggy shores and picturesque bays and inlets of George Island. This morning adventure begins with kayak basics in the pool. $45 per person (AL 3-5)
Sea Kayak/Hike to Covered Portage Cove - Discover a beautiful lookout atop white quartzite hills. Paddle through Killarney Bay to the trailhead and climb just enough to earn a scrumptious lunch. $95 per person (AL 3-5)
Gourmet Kayak & Cruise - Travel by boat to the magical shores of Philip Edward Island. Enjoy a leisurely paddle in paradise, our famous gourmet lunch and a scenic motor cruise home. $125 per person (AL 2-3)
Sunset by Kayak on Killarney Bay - Find peace at the end of the day on this leisurely evening paddle. Killarney Bay is the best place in Killarney to enjoy a sunset. $35 per person (AL 2-3)

Afternoon Sailing Cruise - Board our 46 foot yacht Stormy Night for a half day cruise on Georgian Bay. Join Captain Dave and First Mate Eileen to discover the white quartzite LaCloche hills and red granite shores of the Bay. $45 per person (AL 1)
Evening Sailing Cruise - Enjoy a romantic sailing cruise on Georgian Bay. Join Captain Dave and First Mate Eileen on board our 46 foot yacht Stormy Night to watch dramatic evening skies as the day comes to an end. $45 per person (AL 1)
Georgian Bay Dinner Cruise - Hors d’oeuvres, barbecued specialties, intimate candlelit ambiance and live music - all in a tranquil natural setting at anchor under the stars on Stormy Night, our 46’ sloop. $85 per person (AL 1)
HIKING & CANOEING
Interpretive Canoe Trip – Paddle with our guides along the shores of George Lake and hear tales of history, geology, flora and fauna. $35 per person (AL 2-3)
Killarney Park Canoeing Adventure – Paddle and portage your canoe to the crystal clear waters and quartzite cliffs of Killarney Lake. Spectacular views, great swimming and a tasty packed lunch. $80 per person (AL 4-5)
Trek to Silver Peak - Ascend the highest point in Killarney Park. Paddle by canoe and then hike to the best view in Ontario. You'll work up an appetite for your hearty lunch. $80 per person (AL 5)
SCENIC MOTOR CRUISES
Baie Fine Fjord Motor Cruise – Visit Ontario's famous inland fjord and see spectacular white quartzite cliffs. Swim in the azure waters of Topaz Lake and feast on an unforgettable cookout lunch. You have the option of travelling by boat or hiking a 13 km wilderness trail through the Park where your guide will describe unique Killarney flora, trees and ancient geological specimens. (You’ll likely even see beaver, blue herons and a deer!) Everyone cruises home together. $105 per person (Cruise AL1-2; Topaz Lake hike AL 3; hike AL 5)
Evening Motor Cruise - Enjoy a leisurely evening cruise on Georgian Bay. Our Captain and Cruise Director will share stories of Killarney's natural and cultural history as the day draws to an end. $45 per person (AL 1)
WILDERNESS LODGE RETREAT
Johnnie Lake Escape - Discover our wilderness lodge in the heart of Killarney Park. Relax with a book under a leafy birch or enjoy the sand beach for swimming, windsurfing, sailing, canoe excursion to Ruth Roy Lake, bass fishing, great hike to a lookout and sizzling barbecue lunch. $80 per person (AL 1-3)
Adventure Levels (AL)
- AL 1 - a day of leisure with limited physical activity (may include getting in/out of a motor boat/sailboat)
- AL 2 - short walks on fairly level but rocky terrain and/or gentle paddling for short distances (1-2 km)
- AL 3 - hiking on rocky terrain with some uphill trekking and/or paddling medium distances (3-7 km)
- AL 4 - hiking on rough, rocky terrain with several uphill ascents and/or paddling medium distances with chance of wind and wave conditions (3-10 km)
- AL 5 - a strenuous day of hiking on rough, rocky terrain with consistent uphill travel and/or paddling medium-long distances with chance of wind and wave conditions (6-12 km)
